Today in P5 we were visited by some very special guests who brighten our community through their work. Our first visitor was Nurse Sarah, a mental health and adult nurse who works across the community in Northern Ireland 👩⚕️. We firstly had a Q&A with Sarah and the class asked a range of questions about what it’s like to be a nurse in the community, and about the NHS and healthcare in general. Following this, we discussed how we should respond to emergency situations and learnt how to correctly place a person into the recovery position. Our next guest was Claire from Crumlin Library. Claire treated the class to some light-themed and festive stories and talked to the class about the benefits of supporting your local library. 📚🎄 A massive thank you to both guests, P5 loved having you! 😄
