P2 - Guiding light 🌟
Today Primary 2 explored how Christmas is celebrated around the world.
The children were amazed to discover the many different foods eaten, traditions that are followed and the various names Santa Claus is known as!
Our most surprising fact was that in Japan, instead of a turkey dinner, they eat KFC 🤔
The children were able to see that although we celebrate in different ways, we are all celebrating a 'guiding light'.
To complete our lesson, we sampled some German Christmas biscuits, and we learned how to say 'Merry Christmas' in 3 different languages!
