P6 have been working incredibly hard creating their very own volcanoes! 🌋
The children designed and built paper mâché volcanoes, painted them carefully, and then it was time for the exciting part — making them erupt!
Before the experiment, the children made predictions about what they thought would happen when vinegar and baking soda were mixed. They worked collaboratively in pairs to carry out the investigation, sharing ideas and supporting one another throughout.
To finish off, we took the experiment outdoors to safely watch the volcanoes explode
