We’ve had an exciting first week back in P5! 🌟
This week, we developed our reading skills by focussing on prediction. We read Oliver Jeffers’ brilliant book Stuck and used the final line: “Hang on a minute, lads! I’ve got a great idea…” as inspiration to predict what the firemen did next! 🚒 Working collaboratively, we used PicCollage to turn our ideas into creative posters. 🖼️
In Numeracy, we explored negative numbers and put our knowledge into action by creating our very own Negative Number Board Games! 🎲 This hands-on activity was a fantastic way to cement understanding while having fun. P5 worked in pairs to plan, design, and create their games and they were amazing! 👏
