It was fantastic to welcome David from Eco-Schools NI into school to work with our wonderful P5 pupils on the Wheelie Big Challenge!
David spoke to P5 about the importance of recycling and the positive impact it can have on our environment 🌱 He also helped the children understand what happens when we don’t recycle, exploring the negative effects of ocean waste and overfilled landfills 🗑️
Our P5s proved to be enthusiastic environmentalists, confidently sharing their own ideas, tips, and knowledge about how we can all help protect the planet. They even had the chance to sort waste into the three key categories, compost, recycling, and landfill, before getting ready for their challenge!
A huge thank you to Eco-Schools NI for delivering such an engaging and informative workshop. Our P5 pupils absolutely loved it and left feeling inspired to continue making a difference for our planet 🌎✨
