Primary 5 had a fantastic day on their recent trip to the Ulster Museum, where their Ancient Egypt topic came to life! ✨
The pupils took part in an exciting Ancient Egyptian workshop, where they explored real artefacts, learned about life in Ancient Egypt, and even had the chance to try one of the trades themselves 🏺
They also enjoyed a creative art workshop, where they began learning about the heritage of linen in our country and how it was used in weaving 🧵
A highlight of the day was exploring the museum galleries and seeing Takabuti the mummy up close, which the children loved! The trip ended with a quick visit to the gift shop to pick up some souvenirs.
It was a brilliant day that helped bring their learning to life and inspired even more excitement for their Ancient Egypt topic! 🌟
