πβ¨ Aurora Borealis Art Project - Primary 5 β¨π
Our Primary 5 pupils have been busy creating stunning chalk artwork inspired by the Aurora Borealis! π¨ποΈ
To begin, the class found out what the Aurora Borealis is and how this incredible natural light display is formed. ππ« They then explored a variety of photographs, identifying key features such as the vibrant colours, swirling patterns, and the surrounding landscapes. πΌοΈ
Using coloured chalk, pupils created their own interpretations of the Northern Lights. They practised smudging techniques to blend colours and bring their skies to life, focusing on movement, glow, and atmosphere.
I am so proud of their creativity and effort - each piece is unique and beautifully captures the magic of the aurora! π π
Take a look at their amazing work πΌοΈ
