What a busy and brilliant week it’s been in P5! 😊
In Numeracy, we’ve been sharpening our skills by multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000. Writing on the tables always makes learning extra fun, and we put our knowledge to the test by cracking codes with our friends to earn those all-important Dojo points 🎯
In Literacy, we revisited our favourite moments from our class novel ‘Grandpa’s Great Escape’. We shared ideas and linked them together by creating a class paper chain, celebrating teamwork and storytelling 💬 We also developed our vocabulary skills by learning about synonyms and antonyms, creating synonym ladders and antonym planks to explore how words can be connected and changed in fun and creative ways 📚✨
In PE, Gymnastics had everyone moving and balancing 🤸♀️🤸♂️ as we explored travelling and balancing using benches, trying out lots of creative and confident ways to move. We also had our first wee of Boxing lessons, which P5 absolutely loved! 🥊 The children showed fantastic focus, enthusiasm and energy while learning new skills.
We finished the week in the best way possible with Friday Fun Afternoon 🎉. P5 chose their own activities, spent time with friends, and enjoyed plenty of laughs. We even had a class nail salon and Miss Teague was lucky enough to get her nails done! 💅
P5 continue to be a creative, supportive and wonderful class, making every single day such a joy 💖🌈 What a team!👏✨
