P7 had a brilliant trip to Gartree on Friday as part of our heritage project, learning all about the local area and its role in WW2.
Experts from the Wartime Living History Association joined us for the day displaying artefacts from the American, British and German armies– and the children even got to try some of them on! They put on some fantastic role playing activities and workshops, including marching and even some star jumps for the undisciplined teachers 😱
