Primary 6 have loved learning about the Titanic over the last few weeks. We have been exploring the building of the ship, the people on board & the sinking. We have also discovered what Titanic looks like now, over 100 years after it sank. In today's lesson, Primary 6 took on the role of ship designers and builders. They had to design and then build a boat made out of aluminium foil. The aim was to see whether the boat was able to float when putting cubes (which represented cargo) into the boat. Primary 6 love learning in practical and creative ways and we had a lot of fun doing this activity.
