Mrs Allen and Mrs Manderson had a good laugh in class today as the children set off for the beach!! ⛱️
During playtime some children had placed the chairs in rows and we were told that they were off on a trip. Given the torrential rain ☔🌧️ we could see outside our window, we didn't think it was a good idea to go to the beach today. 🤭
Mrs Allen was about to burst into a rendition of 'The wheels on the bus' only to be told that they were actually on a plane to Africa!!
So we played along and Mrs Manderson became an air hostess. The pilot took his role very seriously but we had to call for an emergency landing due to the excited passengers 🤣🤣
We will definitely organise a more structured 'trip' in June where the children can bring their suitcases to school and we will go on our holidays.
