Integration & Rights Respecting Award

Integration

Integrated Education

The Integrated School provides a learning environment where children and young people from Catholic and Protestant

backgrounds, as well as those of other faiths and none, can learn with, from and about each other.  The promotion of

equality and good relations extends to everyone in the school and to their families regardless of their religions, cultures or

social background.  Integrated education is value-driven and child-centred.  It is through a holistic approach with an

empahasis on developing every aspect of a child's potential.

Rights Respecting Award

Level 2

We are a Level 2 Rights Respecting School.

The Rights Respecting School Award (RRSA) is an initiative run by UNICEF UK, which encourages schools to place the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) at the heart of its ethos and curriculum. A Rights Respecting School not only teaches about children's rights, it also models rights and respect in all its relationships, whether between children or between children and adults.

Get to know your rights!
